Mrs. Kitner worked in the PA Sales Tax Office, Lancaster for 15 years, retiring in 1979.
A member of St. James Episcopal Church, Lancaster, Charlotte was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She was a 1934 graduate of Manheim Township High School. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Percy C. and Edna Peterman Reardon. Her husband, Joseph E. Kitner died in 1975.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda, married to Erik Frederiksen, and Nancy, married to John Houston, both of Lancaster; a son, Joseph V., married to Kay O Donnell Kitner, Winchester, VA; a son-in-law, Alan Noll, New Holland; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and a brother, Phil Reardon, Manheim. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Noll, and a sister, Irene Laudenberger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Ave., Lancaster on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 11 AM with the Rev. Jeffrey Haugh officiating. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, Lancaster on Thursday, August 4th from 10 until 11 AM.
