"Mrs. Clyde Bowlin, 1303 South 40th street, has received word of the death yesterday of her uncle, Frank Rea, a former resident of Rea, Mo.
Mr. Rea died in Detroit, where he resided. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rea, founders and settlers of the Rea community. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estelle Rea of the home, and several nieces and nephews.
The body will arrive tomorrow night at the Rich Funeral Home, Savannah, Mo., where services will be held Saturday at 2. The Rev. O. H. Loomis will officiate. Burial will be in the Savannah Cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, October 3, 1957
