For television, he was a regular on "Fireside Theatre," "Hollywood Summer Theatre," "Playhouse 90," "Kraft Television Theatre," The Outer Limits," "The Defenders," "Mannix" and "Ironside." He wrote and directed the 1949 film "Million Dollar Weekend" and the television play "Prima Donna." He was also married to singing star Jeanette MacDonald.
