Virginia Rose "Jenny" Amstutz, the sister of Nineveh resident Charles Penn, died Friday, April 28, 1995, at her home in Williams. She was 63.
Mrs. Amstutz was born March 8, 1932, in Cisco, Texas, to Guy Rose and Charity Rose Ray Burris.
Her mother survives in Bedford.
She was married to Abe A. Amstutz. He survives.
Mrs. Amstutz and her husband operated the Williams Bait Shop for 30 years.
She was a member of the Williams First Baptist Church and the Williams Extension Homemakers Club.
Other survivors include three daughters, Pam Spaulding, Brenda Davis and Cindy Stinson, all of Williams; three sons, Chris Amstutz and Dennis Amstutz, both of Williams, and Mike Amstutz of Mitchell; two sisters, Peggy Thorp of Williams and Sharon Ray of Brownsburg; three other brothers, Waller Penn and Warren Penn, both of Indianapolis, and Marcel Penn of Pittsboro; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Reverend James Crane conducted a service Monday, May 1, at the Day and Carter Mortuary in Bedford.
Burial was in Lawrence County's Mount Olive Cemetery.
