Sadie Faye Polk, 76, died Sunday, March 10, 2014 at her home. She was born May 22, 1937 in Henderson, TN to the late Carlie and Katie (Henson) Ray. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a homemaker.



Surviving are her children, Carol Greenawalt, Brenda Sawvel, Jack (Stephanie) Polk,
John (Darlene) Polk, Terry Polk, Lula May Snyder, a daughter-in-law, Colleen Brooks, 20 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Rick and Bobby Brooks, a granddaughter, Lindsay Pape, and a companion, Art Wilson.


Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Southern Care Hospice. The Sadie Polk family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice. Especially the Chaplain Brice, Nurse, Michelle, Health Aide Samantha, and various others who helped.
