Geneva Baker was a member of the Live Oak MB Church in Ailey, Georgia for many years. For a great many years she was a farmer and retired from the Vidalia School System. Other affiliates include the Eastern Star and she served as President of the Mount Zion Mission.

Geneva Rawls Baker was born October 1, 1917 in Montgomery County, Georgia to the late Frank Rawls, Sr. and Pearl Green Rawls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Baker; one brother: Frank Rawls, Jr. and one son: Harvey Baker.

She is survived by two daughters: Ora Mae Lee and Daisy Pearl Haynes, both of Ailey, GA; three sons Horace (Daisy) Baker and Marvin (Shara) Baker, both of Flint, MI and the Rev. Lewis (Queenie) Baker of Atlanta, GA; one sister-in-law: Zenobia Rawls; one godson: Willie (Louise) Rawls of Flint, MI.; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; one aunt: Mary Joyce of Lyons, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.
