"WILLIAM M BENEFIEL"

On the 12th of march of that year (1881), in Bates County he was married to Miss Mattie B. Rawlinson, who was born in Brookly, NY, January 1, 1853, but was living in Indianapolis, IN at the time of her marriage. Her parents, her grandparents, her father's brother and three of her father's sisters came to the country from England in the same ship in the fall of 1852. Her parents both died during her early girlhood. Four children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Benefiel:
