Helen V. (Raper) Antosz, 76, formerly of Vine Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.

She was born in Neffs, Ohio on Saturday, January 15, 1927 the daughter of the late Alvin and Violet (Kovalski) Raper.

She formerly was employed at the Select Market, Martins Ferry and the former Marx Toy Factory, Glendale, W. Va. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Antosz; her first husband Tony Angelo; one son, Steven Angelo; step-father, Michael Lewandowski, Sr., and one step-brother, Michael Lewandowski, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Lawrence Ellman of California; two daughters, Blanche Becker and her husband, Robert of Tiltonsville, Ohio, and Valerie Schaal and her husband, David of Bridgeport, Ohio; one step-sister, Alberta Pappas and her husband Michael of Wheeling, W. Va.; three grandchildren, Charleen Gibson, Charles Bell, Jr. and Samatha Schaal and one great granddaughter, Camryn Bell.

Funeral services were held at the funeral home at 11 A.M. Monday, February 10, 2003, with Father Richard Battocletti officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
