Joyce R Bossert, 83, of Red Lodge, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Cedar Wood Healthcare.

She was born Sept. 23, 1930, the youngest child of Lawrence and Nora Rankin. She married Hank Bossert on Sept. 5, 1946; together they had 5 children. Mom was a hard worker, she had many jobs throughout the years in Red Lodge and retired from the Red Lodge Hospital in 1987.

Mom was preceded in death by her brother, Wilbur Rankin; sisters, Nita Underwood and Marg Johnson and also her son-in-law, Don Swartz.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Riley of Red Lodge; five children, Bill (Jan) Bossert of Gardiner, Ken (Eleanor) Bossert of White Sulphur Springs, Susan Swartz of Broadview, Callie Bossert of Livingston and Michelle (Tom) Gilder of Lovelock, NV. There are 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At Mom's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel and memories may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com
