27 Jul 1925: Mrs. Gertrude R. Baney, wife of J.C. Baney, of Water and Walnut Streets, died at her home this morning at 11 o'clock from a complication of diseases. Survivors besides her husband are one daughter, Christine; one son, John R.; one sister, Mrs. Louis Soulliard, of Jonestown; and one brother, W.H. Rank, of Rockford, Illinois. The funeral July 30th with the Rev. Paul D. Winters, St. James Lutheran Church. The bearers were C.A. Leffler, Morris Erdman, John Bamberger, and Robert Sanders. Interment took place in the Mt.
