Geraldine V. Randolph Fete Kluge
1918 - 2010 Geraldine V. Randolph Fete Kluge, 91 of Tacoma, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 15th. A life-long resident of Tacoma, Geraldine was born May 7, 1918, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1936. Geraldine and her sister, Delores, were born to the late John and Ida Randolph. She was the beloved wife of her late husband, Philip A. Fete of Tacoma, and mother of their two children, Marilyn C. Knauf of Lakewood and David R. Fete of Santa Barbara, California. Geraldine was also preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Karl B. Kluge of Tacoma; her sister, Delores L. Randolph of Tacoma; and her son-in-law, Manfred H. Knauf of Lakewood. Her active life included many years as a member of the Tacoma PTA, the Pierce County Heart Association, and WICS. Geraldine is survived by her children, Marilyn Knauf of Lakewood and David Fete of Santa Barbara; her granddaughter, Kristin M. Kuipers (Peter) of San Ramon, California; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Ella Kuipers of San Ramon; and step-children, Beth Ramsey of Puyallup and Kenneth Kluge of Tacoma. Donations may be made to the Pierce County Humane Society and the American Institute for Cancer Research. Private family services are pending.
