Edna M. Randolph Baily, age 93, of Searights Crossroads, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pa., passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born January 31, 1914, in Redstone Township, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of John N. Randolph and Sarah E. Williams Randolph.
Edna was a life member of the Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, Smock, Fayette County, Pa., and was a member of the Franklin Grange No. 1169 for over seventy-five years and served as Grange Secretary for many of those years. She was also a former member of the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Stanley Baily, a daughter, Ellen Louise Baily Thomas, her son-in-law, Charles W. Thomas, Sr., and these brothers and sisters: Lawrence, Ernest, and Wilmer Randolph, Clara Lincoln, Sarah Leichliter, and Edwin "Dick" Randolph.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Moore and her husband, Richard, of Painesville, Ohio; two sons: Joseph R. Baily and his wife, Laverne, with whom she made her home, and Earl F. Baily, all of Searights Crossroads; eight grandchildren: Cathy L. Thomas, Vance R. Moore, Kirk D. Moore, Keith L. Moore, Brian J. Moore, Sheri L. Caggiano, Donald J. Baily, Brandon "J.A.E." Bailey, and a step-grandson, Charles W. Thomas, Sr.; fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Randolph Stillwagon, of Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Fayette County, Pa., on Tuesday, February 27, after 7 p.m., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, March 1, until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service, with her Pastor, the Rev. Keith Conover, officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Route 40 East, Brier Hill, Fayette County, Pa. Franklin Grange No. 1169 will conduct Services in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
