Mrs. Orlena Randle Anderson, 79, Topeka, died Saturday in her home. She suffered an apparent heart attack. She was born September 15, 1893 at Hope. She lived many years at Dighton and had lived in Topeka since 1957.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service, both at Topeka and the Order of Eastern Star at Dighton.
She was married in October of 1957 to Col.(Ret.) Nels A. Anderson at Dighton. He survives. Other survivors include 4 step-sons, Nels A. Anderson, Jr. Atlanta, Ga., Earl Anderson, Topeka, Robert Anderson, Justice Ill., and William Anderson, Hawaii; 2 step-daughters, Miss Charline Anderson, Chicago, and Mrs. Ardell Drewlow, Topeka; 3 sisters, Mrs. Esther Wendt, Abilene, Mrs. Edith Kraus, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Anna Strostle, Wichita; a brother, Ernest Ludemann, Los Angeles; 24 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be Tuesday at the Klasse memorial Chapel of the First United Methodist Church and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
