FORMER RESIDENT OF APPLETON DIES
Mrs. Viola Fox Passes Away Here Sunday
Mrs. Viola Fox, formerly of Appelton died Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Eugene, 1109 South Jackson st., where she had made her home for the past two years.
She was born in Appleton in 1854 and during her life there was active in club and church circles. She was past president of the Women's Relief corps and a member of the Rebekah lodge, the W. C. T. U. and the Sunshine club and a life member of the Congregational church.
Surviving are two sons, George R. of Three Oaks, Mich., and Eugene of Green Bay, and five grandchildren. A grandson, Billy Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fox, died several weeks ago.
The body is at Schauer and Schumacher's Funeral home and short services will be held there tomorrow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fred W. Field officiating. The body will be taken to the Brettschneider Funeral home at Appelton, where services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
