Hulda Ranck Kline, 95, of Edinburg, died Frideay, January 1, 2010 at Royal Haven, Woodstock, where she had been resident for the past 19 months.
She was born in Sunbury, Pa., on Oct. 14, 1914, the daughter of Calvin Henry Ranck and Nora MacMillan Wheeler Ranck. She had been a resident of Edinburg since the age of 3. She was a graduate of Edinburg High School, was a lifelong member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Edinburg, and spent most of her working years as a bookkeeper for Northern Virginia Vending Service and the Farm Bureau. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, a friend to all. Her home was her haven and she was a contented lady who loved nothing more than a game of cards or dominoes. She brought much joy and laughter to her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen Kay and Mark Dellinger of Edinburg, Barbara and Linwood Daniel of Danville, Va., and Ann and Nathan Stephens of Salem, Va. Her survivors also include ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sisters Lena Ranck Headley and Elizabeth Ranck Heath, and by her brother David Fred Wheeler.
A memorial service was conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 9 at St. John's United Methodist Church in Edinburg with the Rev. Linwood Saniel and the Rev. Steve McMillion officiating.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the in-home care givers, Vonnie Hepner, Dora Waybright, Shirlehy Patton, Carolyn Helman, and Theresa Bailey, and to the wonderful staff at Royal Haven.

She graduated from Edinburg High School a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church of Edinburg, for many years a bookkeeper for Northern Virginia Vending Co. and Farm Bureau.
A memorial service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan 9 at St. Johns United Methodist Church by Rev. Steve McMillion and Rev. Linwood Daniel. Burial will be at a later date.
Surviving are three Daughters: Ellen Kay Dellinger and husband Mark of Edinburg, Barbara K. Daniel and husband Linwood of Danville, Ann K. Stephens and husband Nathan of Salem. Ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death sisters, Elizabeth Ranck Heath and Lena Ranck Headley, a brother D. Fred Wheeler.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
