Arden James Ramlo, age 85, born March 16, 1929 to Gilbert and Ina Ramlo in Hendricks, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on May 11.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria, parents Gilbert and Ina and siblings Arleen, Glendon and Myra. He is survived by daughters Debbie (Meyer) and Jennifer (Palmer), sons Dave, Steve and Scott, and grandchildren Jon, Ashley, David, Allyson, Sam, Emma, Brooke and Sophia.
Arden attended Augsburg College, was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp, worked as an accountant, owned and operated a tax business and was a long-time employee of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. He retired at age 70.
Arden will be best remembered for his compassion and devotion to family, his friendliness to everyone he met and his love of the Lord. His love for his hometown and the people of Hendricks remained a soft spot in his heart until the day he died.
He is buried at Fort Snelling Cemetery. A celebration of his life was held at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Minneapolis on Friday, May 16.
