Augusta Mary Ramey, 90, of Springfield died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at St. John's North.
She was born March 12, 1914, in Hanna City, the daughter of Victor and Hulda Hedrick Mahieu. She married Carl Ramey in 1954 in Jacksonville; he died in 1979. A son, George Albert, and a daughter, Peggy Childers, also preceded her in death.
Survivors: four daughters, Pat Hollingshead of Garden Grove, Calif., Shirley (husband, Whitey) Boggs and Sharon L. Rogers, both of Springfield, and Dawn Nelson of Oklahoma City; a son, Gerald A. Vetter of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, the Rev. Charles Olander officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
