Harold David Raley, 74, of Elliott died at 5:22 a.m. Saturday (March 3, 2012) at Gilman Healthcare Center, Gilman.

Mr. Raley was born May 31, 1937, in Detroit, a son of Harry F. and Ruth Mary Walsh Raley. He married Sandra Reese on April 20, 1963, in Champaign. She survives in Gilman.

Also surviving is a son, Heath (Christine Blankenstein) Raley of Troy Grove; a daughter, Stacey (Scott) Hardy of Evanston; two grandchildren, Caden and Tucker Hardy; and his sister, Mary Ann (Lee) Emmons of Semmes, Ala.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.

Mr. Raley is an Army veteran and a member of the Elliott Amvets.

He was a pipefitter and construction worker for 30 years at Chanute Air Force Base.
