Anne Raleigh Bousquet, 80, of Syracuse died Wednesday at home in the company of her family. A native of Syracuse, she graduated Rosemary Hall in Greenwich, Connecticut and Syracuse University with degrees in journalism and home economics. While at Syracuse University she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. Mrs. Bousquet was a past Board member and President of The Junior League of Syracuse. She was also a past member of the Board of Planned Parenthood of Syracuse and was a past Board member and officer of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York. Mrs. Bousquet was a lifelong member of the Sedgwick Farm Tennis Club where she served as an officer and director for many years. She and her husband of fifty years, the late Joseph C. Bousquet, were made honorary members of the Club in 1997 on the occasion of the Club's one hundredth anniversary. The daughter of eight time city champion Stuart F. Raleigh, she was an avid and accomplished tennis player in her own right. Mrs. Bousquet worked as a journalist in San Francisco and for many years worked as a bridal consultant in Syracuse with her late mother, Neeltje Gere Raleigh. Mrs. Bousquet was a lifelong member of Park Central Presbyterian Church and remained active in Circle O of that Church. Mrs. Bousquet is survived by her sons, Laurence G. Bousquet of Syracuse and his wife Lauri, Philip S. Bousquet of Fayetteville and his wife Tracey, two granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah, her grandson Christopher, her brother, Stuart F. Raleigh, Jr. of Fayetteville, her aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth G. Byrnes of Glen Cove, and numerous cousins, nieces, and a nephew. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Park Central Presbyterian Church, 504 East Fayette Street, Syracuse. The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
