Funeral services for Martha Atkins, 77, were held at 10 a.m. at the St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Houston. Burieal was in Klein Memorial Park, under the direction of Klein Champions of Houston.
Martha's parents were Warren and Ethel Rainwater.
Martha graduated from Sallisaw High School and Northeastern State University. At age 21, she began her teaching career in the Oklahoma City Schools. Survivors include her husband, Bucky, cousins, Treva Lee Lindsey of Oklahoma City, Morris Baker and Thomas Baker of Tucson, Ariz; and numerous second cousins and many long time friends.
