Obituary.
The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Rafferty, wife of Patrick Rafferty, whose death was noted, took place this morning at nine o'clock from St. Michael's Catholic church on Main Street of which the deceased was a devoted member during her lifetime. Rev. S. J. Clark celebrated solemn requiem mass and conducted the burial services speaking very touchingly of the deceased. At the conclusion of the burial services, the cortege proceeded to St. Michael's Catholic on Mt. Pleasant Street where the remains were interred in family burial plot midst a very large concourse of friends and relatives. Mrs. Rafferty is survived by her husband, three sons and three daughters as follows: Mrs. Wm. Jack, Mr.s Peter F. Carroll and Miss Mary Rafferty and Messrs. John, Charles and Bernard Rafferty, all residing at this place. Mrs. Rafferty was one of the city's best known and most charitable ladies and her many kind acts will be greatly missed and her place hard to fill.
