Al is survived by his wife Lela; two sons, Bennie Racer and Vernon Racer; two brothers, Clarence Racer and Orrile Racer; four sisters, Elva Wright, Dollie Cupp, Bobbie Norton and Muriel Randolph.
His funeral was in the high school gymnasium with burial at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordy and Son Funeral Home.
