Nancy C. Rutherford, age 75, of 1437 Arden Lane, Manitowoc, died Monday evening,
Aug.17, 2009, at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.
Nancy was born Feb. 16, 1934, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Norbert and
Hilma (Isselmann) Lettenberger. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High
School with the class of 1952. Nancy was an administrative assistant to the
president of WCUB Radio Station, Manitowoc. She was a member of the Manitowoc-
Two Rivers YMCA who enjoyed her Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning water
aerobics fitness classes for the past five years. She was also a past member
of the Masquers and volunteered for many years with Heart-A-Rama.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jerald Rutherford; one sister, Alice
Blossfeld; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lettenberger and father of her children,
Thomas G. Rutherford.
The family will greet relatives and friends Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, from 4 until
8 p.m. at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7:30
p.m. led by Deacon Al Boeldt. Visitation will continue at Pfeffer Funeral Home
on Saturday morning, August 22, from 9 a.m. until the morning prayer service at
10 a.m.
Funeral services will be held with the morning prayer service at 10 a.m. Saturday,
Aug. 22, 2009, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and continue with the Mass
of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. Officiating
at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton with burial to follow
at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family wishes to extend its most grateful thanks to the entire staff at the
Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County, for all of the care provided to make
Nancy's last moments peaceful. Memorials may be given in Nancy's name to St.
Francis of Assisi Parish, Manitowoc or Roncalli High School.
