POST -- Services for Frank Runkles, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Syl Moore officiating and the Rev. Doug Runkles assisting. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, March 19, at Covenant Medical Center. He was born Dec. 28, 1909 in Hunter, Kas., and married Alylene Byrd on jan. 19, 1929 in Stephenville.
He is survived by three daughters, Ramona Ross of Corpus Christi, Wanda Moore of Midland, and Delores Patty of Yukon, Okla.; one sister, Edna Crouch of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
