James J. (Jim) Roubal, 72, of 907 N. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert
Fellenz will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Graveside rites will be performed by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 659.
Mr. Roubal was born Aug. 10, 1895, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Frank
and Mary Sauer Roubal. He served in Company G of 167th Infantry, 42nd Division,
during World War I. He married Laura Wilda in 1923 at Manitowoc and was a member
of World War I Barracks, VFW post and Holy Name Society of the church.
His wife survives along with a son, Russell, of Chicago, a daughter, Mrs. John
(Betty Jane) Wadzinski, of Valders, a sister, Mrs. Annie Dragovich, of Manitowoc
and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, after 4 p.m. Friday
where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
