SYLVESTER W. ROHRER

Sylvester W. Rohrer Jr., 44, of 2240 Fairmont St., Manitowoc, died Monday
evening at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, where he had been confined 16
days following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Funeral sevices will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Rev. E.A. Radey will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Rohrer was born April 27, 1917, at Manitowoc, son of Sylvester M. Rohrer
and the late Theresa Pritzl Rohrer. The lifelong Manitowoc resident attended
St. Boniface Parochial School and was graduated from Lincoln High School in
1937. He married Kathryn Radl at Sacred Heart Catholic Church June 14, 1941,
and the past 11 years had been employed as a steamfitter by Charles Honold Co.,
Sheboygan.
Mr. Rohrer was a member of Holy Name Society of Holy Innocents Church, Elks
Lodge No. 687 and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. He served the latter group
as secretary-tresurer the past four years.
Surviving are his wife, three daughters, and three sons (Private); father,
Sylvester M. Rohrer, of Manitowoc; brother, Robert, of Manitowoc; and four
sisters, Mrs. Ervin Theisen, Mrs. Ben Levendusky and Mrs. Carl Willman, of
Manitowoc and Mrs. Anton Lemberger, of Whitelaw.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8
o'clock this Wednesday evening.
