Philip Paul Roekle, 8-year-old son of Paul G. and Sharon M. Roekle of 2325 Victoria Dr., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at the Central Colony at Madison, Wis.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry Ellenberger will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Philip was born May 17, 1971, in Manitowoc, son of Paul G. and Sharon M. Meineke Roekle.
Survivors include his parents and two brothers, Christopher and Andrew at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Armin Roekle of Manitowoc; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Meineke of Mishicot; maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Julia Peltier of Mishicot and maternal great grandfather, William Meineke of Manitowoc. He is also survived by many special friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Sue in 1977.
Friends may call in Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
