Susie's parents were Tom and Nancy Elizabeth Myatt Welch. Susie was married to George Washington Roberson and they farmed in the Wanette, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma area. (Both families originally came from Putnam County, Tennessee.)
G.W. and Susie had twelve children that I know of: 1) Crissy E.; 2) Effie; 3) Tennie; 4&5) twins Lola Etly and Luster; 6) Carl; 7) James C.; 8) Myrtle Ethel who married Jesse Leroy Noland; 9) Lonzo; 10) A. P. (initials only) called Bob or Bill; 11) George Amos called Willie; and 12) John Thomas called Tommy.
Susie was living in Oklahoma City with daughter Myrtle before she died. She was in a wheel chair the last years of her life. My mother often talked about her Grandmother Susie, how she laughed all the time and was so loving. Mother and her sister Inez idolized Susie, who must have been an old soul.
