AMANDA RIEBE

Mrs. Amanda A. Riebe, 82, formerly of Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening in High Ridge Hospital, Racine. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Friday in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Riebe, nee Amanda Knell was born Sept. 27, 1895 in Manitowoc. She was educated in Manitowoc schools and had been employed with the Henderson-Hoyt Company. She was married to Erwin J. Riebe in 1917 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Aug. 18, 1954.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Eunice and Robert Grimm of Westmont, Ill., and Mrs. Arline Nimz of Ohio; a sister, Miss Ann Knell of Madison, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two infant sons, a brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 7 pm to 9 pm Thursday and Friday until the time of service.
