Charles Reitmeyer(sic), 81, Dies at Residence Today
Charles Reitmeyer, 81, retired farmer, died today at the home at 422 North 10th
street.
He was born in Germany and came to the county when 19 years old. He was married
in 1881 to Mary Benk who survives. He operated several farms, including one near
St. Nazianz. Nine years ago he moved to Manitowoc.
Mrs. John Diedrich, St. Nazianz, and three grandchildren also survive.
The body will be at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home until the hour
of the funeral, and can be viewed after Thursday noon.
Services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 8:45 a.m. and at Sacred
Heart church at 9 o'clock. Father William Grace will officiate and burial will
be at Evergreen cemetery.
