Amelia Rossini Quiroz September 23, 1916 October 2, 2008 Our mother was called home by the Lord on October 2, 2008. She passed away with dignity and courage in a very peaceful manner surrounded by her close family. Born in Benson, AZ and raised in Tucson, AZ. She was a member of the club "Hijas De Maria" until she graduated from Tucson High School. Upon graduating she married the love of her life, Fred F. Quiroz. She is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Fred F. Quiroz; loving daughter, Yolanda Esperon, her caretaker for the past ten years; sons, Freddie (Alice), Richard (Margi), Bobby (Debbie); daughter, Carol Morelos; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. She was loved instantaneously by all whom met her because of her loving, caring and generous ways. My dearest mother, you have left me with cherished memories that are like photographs in my mind. The past ten years dad and I spent by your side were filled with love, strength and joy. Not a day went by that we did not express our love to one another. You will be greatly missed until we reunite again. Nana, the past two months I spent every day with you. I know that there were moments when you recognized me because you would open your eyes and smile. I know in my heart that you realized I was always there for you. I will love you forever, your loving granddaughter, Yvette. Mass was at St. Augustine Church followed by interment in Holy Hope Cemetery.
