Mrs. Allen, a prominent Opelousas matron, had been ill for several months.
She was born June 19, 1914, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Quirk, DeQuincy. After she moved here with her family in 1949 she became an active worker in the Yambilee, the Mother's Club of Academy of Immaculate Conception and the Red Cross Gray Ladies.
Surviving are her husband, a son, a daughter and one sister.
