Delfina M. Chacon, 82, was called to be with the Lord on Dec. 20, 2005, in Pueblo. Born on Aug. 27, 1923, in San Luis, to Francisco and Dolores Quintana. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Benerito Chacon. She was a long time member of St. Leander Parish. Survived by her children, Mary (Carlos) Ferris, Dan Chacon, Jessie (Robert) Englehardt, Dorothy (Nick) Huerta, Mary Ann (Gino) Sawa, and Albert Chacon; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Quintana; sister, Stella Quintana. Delfina loved her family deeply and was equally loved by all who knew her. She was God's living proof that miracles do happen. She will be in our hearts and souls forever. Visitation, noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m., at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass, 1 p.m. Friday, St. Leander Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
