Mrs. Catherine Quinn Bauerle, 64, residing with her son, Harold Bauerle, on Seymour R2 in the Schepman Addition east of Seymour, died suddenly this morning in the office of a Seymour physician where she had gone for treatment. Death was believed due to a heart attack.
Mrs. Bauerle was born in Jackson county May 28, 1882. She was the daughter of Patrick and Hannah Sullivan Quinn, both natives of Ireland. She spent her entire life in this city and was married on February 28, 1905, in Seymour to John W. Bauerle, who died on July 9, 1934.
Mrs. Bauerle was a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and enjoyed the acquaintance and esteem of a host of friends who were shocked to hear of her sudden passing.
She is survived by six children: Mrs. Helen Kleber, Carl Bauerle and Mrs. Dorothy Klosterman, all of Indianapolis; Mrs. Edna Howard, Mrs. Rosemary Bowman and Howard Bauerle, all of Seymour. A sister, Mrs. Ella Sandhage. of Seymour and eight grandchildren also survive.
