Mary Margaret Chellberg, 80, of Lafayette, died at 7:53 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born May 28, 1929 in Camden to the late Ray and Nelle Jenkins Quinn. In 1950 she married Hal J. Goodwin. They divorced in 1962. She married the Rev. Walter M. Chellberg in 1982. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Goodwin (wife: Lorna) of Indianapolis and Patrick Goodwin (wife: Robin) of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Marcia Adams (husband: Mark) of Atlanta, Ga.; four stepdaughters, Carol Peterson (husband: Randy) of Omaha, Nebraska; Sandra Uden (husband: Rex) and Pamela Golden (husband: James), both of Paxton, Il. and Mary Hernandez (husband: Oscar) of Bluefield, W.Va.; a stepson, John Chellberg (wife: Kathy) of Antioch, Il.; a brother, Timothy Quinn (wife: Elaine) of Camden; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 22 stepgrandchildren and 26 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Edward D. Quinn, and a half sister, Vera Quinn Walker.
