Alice C. Quigley, 87, formerly of Marysville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
Alice was born in Marysville on March 18, 1919, the daughter of the late Ruben H. and Lillian M. Wallace Beers.
She retired from the Meat Department at the former Big Bee Supermarket, Marysville; was a member of Marysville Church of God, where she was a deaconess, choir member and held various offices; and was the past secretary of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Marysville Fire Company.
She was the widow of Kenneth A. Quigley and is survived by a daughter, Linda, wife of Robert Pagnotti of Old Forge, PA; a son, Kenneth C., husband of Denby Quigley of Marysville; a sister, Lois N. Hendricks of Duncannon; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jeremy Quigley, both of Marysville, Linette Richardson, Robert and Michlene Pagnotti, all of Old Forge; great grandchildren, Matthew Richardson of Old Forge, Taylor, Tyler and Kale Quigley, all of Marysville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2006 in the Marysville Church of God. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery, Enola. Viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday in the church.
Arrangements are being handled by the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.
