Billy Ray Quiett (1929 - 2011)
Billy Ray Quiett, 82, passed away from complications of pneumonia Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Bill was born March 23, 1929, in Colorado City to Loyd B. and Jessie Quiett. He had a life of many adventures: from bull riding and being an Airborne Ranger, to many years as an iron worker. He was a good "volunteer" and was always ready to help anyone. He was a past commander of VFW, Post #2137. He is now relieved of his pain and is in God's hands.
Survivors: Wife, Luese; children, Donna Burnett, Delia Quiett, Deborah Rangel, Becky Reeves and John Sanderson; sister, Bennie Royer; grandchildren, Ryan Burnett, Nicole Quiett, Jennifer Reeves and Bart Rose and wife, Amy; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
