Roscelia Geraldine Bischoff, 99, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2006. She was a resident at Dove Healthcare for the past nine years.
Rose was born to Gustave and Anna Quast on August 23, 1906. She was the oldest of eight children raised on a farm in rural Fall Creek.
She married Carl Bischoff on November 28, 1926. They farmed and raised seven children together on their family farm south of Eau Claire. After the sale of their livestock, Rose was employed for several years as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn.
She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a talented cook who enjoyed making meals for her family and guests. Everyone was always welcome at her table. Rose was blessed with the gift of making people laugh with her crazy antics and comical sayings.

She is survived by four children, Gerald (Joyce) Bischoff, Joann (Garnett) Boernke, David (Sharon) Bischoff, all of Eau Claire, and James Bischoff of Hallie, one daughter-in-law, Carol Bischoff; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caretaker, Donna Lau.
