COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Willene Dyer, 80, of Coppell, Texas, formerly of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Fri., March 26, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today, Thurs., March 25, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dyer died on Tues., March 23, 1999, at Cross Timbers Care Center in Flower Mound, Texas.
She was born on April 30, 1918, in Cookeville to the late Harvey Lee and Lucy Jenny Meyers Quarles. Mrs. Dyer was a retired accountant and bookkeeper. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Her family includes a son, Everett B. Dyer III of Coppell; several brothers; five grandchildren; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Bazz Dyer Jr., who died on March 24, 1982.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Dyer's nephews.
Bro. Glen McDoniel will officiate at the services.
