Angeline or "Annie" as she was called was born to George and Lucinda Edward Tipton.
Angeline Tipton first married Ralph Burdette Quarles son of (Peter Layfette Quarles). She and Ralph were married in Hood County.They had seven children in Hood County.Ralph died in Granberry, Hood county, 1895. Buried in Granberry Cemetery.
She moved to Elkhart, Anderson County with her children.
She then married Ralph's cousin, Malcolm Royston Quarles in 1900, Anderson County, Texas. Ralph and Malcolm being double first cousins due to their fathers W.W. and Peter Lafayette being brothers and their mother's Eliza and Mary Neal being sisters.
From the marriage to Ralph, they had seven children;
