George Quackenbush
Remsen - George Quackenbush, 68, died Dec. 24, 1953, in a Utica hospital, following a short illness.
He married Georgiania Wandover. At one time he was employed in the lumbering business and had lived in Remsen most of his life.
He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Anna Quackenbush in Arizona, Mrs. Florence Reggelman, Syracuse, Miss Patricia Quackenbush, Rome and Mrs. Eva Santmeyer, Cold Brook; two sons, Adam, Cold Brook, and Chester, Remsen, several grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 Sunday from the Sterner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Bragg, pastor of Remsen Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wheelertown Cemetery.
