GARDINER - Kim Pushard, 55, of Gardiner passed away at home on the morning of Nov. 7, 2010, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born in Gardiner on Oct. 29, 1955, to Helen Donovan and the late Louis Pushard, and the stepson of the late Donald Donovan.
Kim was a graduate of Gardiner Area High School. Kim was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a sport enthusiast, especially following the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Kim worked for many years for Associated Grocers and Progressive Distributors, before owning his own variety store in Jackman.
Kim is survived by his mother, Helen, of Gardiner. Kim is also survived by his daughter, Erica Cote, and husband Steven of Lewiston and their children Nolan, Chase, Luke and Gage; his daughter, Kara Bubier and her husband, Joshua, and their daughter Addie of Skowhegan.
Kim is survived by his siblings Keith Pushard of Las Vegas, Nev., and his companion Linda Shreve; sister Cheryl Woodman and husband Kenny of Gardiner; sister Dawn Thornton and husband Jamie of Jay, brother Craig Donovan and his wife Andrea of Chelsea and a brother Greg Pushard of Las Vegas, Nev., a special friend Jodi Breton of West Gardiner; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Burial will be at a later date in the family plot at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dresden. (Kennebec Journal 11/9/2010)
