MADILL -- Services for Albert Junior Purser, 88, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Lyndol Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.
Born July 17, 1909, at Madill to Albert L. and Mary E. Purser, he died Feb. 13, 1998, at an Ardmore hospital.
Purser married the former Bea Maurice on July 2, 1943, at Atoka. He was a rancher and a member of the Madill Round Up Club and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Don, Edmond; one brother, Paul, Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Cleo Templeton, Rogers, Elva Purser, Madill, and Nora Belle Griffin, Oklahoma City; and one grandson.
Bearers are Lamond Purser, Harold Purser, Jerdy Gary, Billy Barnes, Doyle Barnes and George Barnes.
