OBITUARY
Mary Bandy [Mary Louise Purser Bandy]
Dayton Resident
Mary Purser Bandy, 85, of Dayton, died Monday at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lester and Lillie Purser and was a member of Dayton First Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. She and her husband owned and operated Dayton Boat Dock for 18 years. Survivors include her husband, Home R. Bandy, son, Finley E. Bandy, daughter, Orpha B. Hudson, sister, Wilma Purser Denton, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Milton Knox and Rev. Billy Joe Wilkey officiating. Burial will be held in Rhea Memory Gardens. Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
