Nora Alene Purser Cosick Kennedy died peacefully on March 25, 2015. She was 85 years old.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Abundant Life Community Church, located at 10795 Alta Street, Grass Valley, California.
Nora was born November 30, 1929, in Stanton, Texas to Bevie Allen ("Dutch") and Irene Winslow Purser.
Her first marriage was to George Steven Cosick who passed away on April 9, 1965, in Santa Cruz, California.
Nora then married Roscoe Wallace Kennedy.
She worked 30 years as the owner of a dry cleaning business in the Bay area, then moved to Grass Valley to be close to her family and children.
She loved her family and all grandkids and would do anything for them. Nora also loved her church and all the people in it. She adored her dog as well.
Nora is survived by her son Robert Cosick and daughter Connie Cosick-Lagerwey, five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and two stepchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.
