Another Death from Pneumonia.
Mrs. Arthur Catlett died at her home in Garfield Monday of pneumonia, which followed a brief illness of flu. The Catlett family moved here early last fall from Great Bend, Mr. Catlett being employed up until about two weeks ago by the Kansas Grain Co., as manager of their elevator here.
By the death of Mrs. Catlett, two little children, the eldest being about two years of age and the youngest less than one year old, are left motherless.
The funeral was conducted at the home yesterday afternoon by Rev. R.L. Cecil. She was buried in the Garfield cemetery.

Alta A. Purdue was born at Woodlawn, Jefferson County, Illinois, July 8th, 1887. Died March 13, 1922, aged 34 years, 8 months and 4 days.
When a child, she came with her parents to Kansas, where they settled near Ellinwood. On April 19, 1916, at Norman, Okla., she was united in marriage to Arthur Catlett, to which union two children were born, both of whom with their father survive.
Her uncle, Ed Ramey, and three brothers, Ira, Oscar and Orla Braman, of Norman, Okla., were present at the funeral.
