Mrs. Marie Pulliam Nelson, 73, of 2516 Walker Ave., died Sept. 12, 1996, at Triad Manor in High Point.
The funeral for Mrs. Nelson will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 1996, at Forbis and Dick N. Elm St. Chapel. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
She was born in Summerfield on Oct. 16, 1922, to Charles and Ethel Summers Pulliam. She was a retired office manager with Gravely Furniture Co.
Surviving are her husband, George N. Nelson, Sr. of the home; sons, George N. Nelson, Jr. and his wife, Cindy of Decatur, Ala., William A. 'Bill' Nelson and his wife, Vickie of Greensboro; brothers, Larry Pulliam and his wife, Sandy of Julian, Marvin Pulliam and his wife, Edith of Greensboro. Also surviving are grandchildren, Anna Prestridge, and Nathan Nelson, both of Decatur, Ala., Susan Nelson and Alissa Nelson, both of Greensboro; and great-grandchild, Stoner Prestridge of Decatur, Ala.
