It was during her time with John Deere that she met her husband, Jack Prunty. The two were married on January 8, 1994 at the Highland Park Methodist Church in Des Moines. The couple made their home in Van Meter and 10 years ago moved to a farm near Lorimor in Madison County, Iowa.
