Maude M. Gurr, 64, died at her home in Chelan, Sunday, Oct. 5, after a long illness. Born in Dayton on March 21, 1888, she spent her early life in Asotin, moving to Chelan in 1902. She was married on May 29, 1908, at Chelan to William Gurr.
Surviving are her husband, William, two sisters Nellie Green of Chelan and Bessie Mitchell of Soap Lake; a half sister, Mrs. John F. Cox in Ohio; and one brother, Pruitt of Tacoma.
Funeral services were held Tuesday with the Smith Funeral Home in charge.
