Sarah married Warner Crouch on 21 March 1873. They had eight children.

Times, February 14, 1929. Sarah was born December 4, 1849 in new Concord, Ohio, and died February 7, 1929 in the home of her son Dr. W. M. Crouch of McLeansboro. She was the daughter of David and Mary Proudfit. She married Warner D. Crouch March of 1873, he died in 1912. They had eight children, Cloyd C., Hiram C., And Dr. J. A. Crouch all preceded her in death. Five children survive, Mrs. J. W. Kinnear, Beaumont, Texas; Dr. D. P. Crouch, Osceola, Arkansas; Dr. W. L. Crouch, Fairview; Dr. W. M. Crouch of McLeansboro; and Dr. C. B. Crouch of Chicago. It was a joint funeral services with her sister Mrs. Susan Foulk. Interred in the Crouch cemetery.


Obituary 2 unknown paper, (obituaries of Hamilton County, Illinois 1926 to 1931) Mrs. S. P. Crouch, age 79, and Mrs. S. M. Foulk, age 73, both passed away Thursday, January 31, 1929, (as written Feb 7th is correct date) the former about 4:35 as a result of pneumonia fever, and the latter about 5:00 o'clock a.m. in the Mount Vernon Hospital of influenza. A double funeral was held in the Methodist Church in Belle City, Friday afternoon at 145, conducted by the Rev.'s D. R. Luke, pastor of the Belle City church, and John B. Maulding of McLeansboro. Ms. Crouch died at the home of her son, Dr. W. M. Crouch in this city, where she had been staying during her illness, having been brought here from her home in Belle City. For the past 15 years, Mrs. Crouch and Mrs. Foulk, who are sisters, have been making their home together in Belle City, Mrs. Crouch having resided there practically her entire life. The husband of Mrs. Foulk passed away in 1906 and the husband of Mrs. Crouch died in 1911. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Crouch, five of whom are now living, for boys and one girl. Interment was made in the Crouch cemetery near Belle Prairie.
